My gauge for a good leader is one who listens well, responds in a timely fashion, and follows up efficiently and effectively. Shebreh Kalantari-Johnson checks all these boxes.
In addition to being a member of the Santa Cruz City Council, and running her own consulting business, she worked on grant writing and volunteering for Pacific School, where I met her. As a mother who brought her children to school in Davenport for over 9 years, she became part of our north coast community.
Shebreh made friends with many of the local parents and even housed one of our CZU fire families, after the fire. She is familiar with our local issues and I have no doubt she will support north coast citizens in the future, thanks to her affinity to Davenport.
